WordPress 4.8.2 Security and Maintenance Release
WordPress 4.8.2 is now available. This is a security release for all previous versions and we strongly encourage you to update your sites immediately.
For those of you that use WordPress, Aaron is strongly encouraging you to update to version 4.8.2. This new release lists 8 vulnerabilities within WordPress 4.8.1. Make sure you update your client’s sites as soon as possible!1
What Do Leading Small Business Blogs Have in Common?

CSS Grid Gotchas And Stumbling Blocks
In March this year, CSS Grid shipped into production versions of Chrome, Firefox and Safari within weeks of each other. It has been great to see how excited people are about finally being able to use it to solve real problems.
I don’t know anything about CSS Grid as I primarily use WordPress visual editors to design websites. However, pro web designers are sure to find this article a handy reference to using CSS more effectively in their custom web design projects. 3
New Theme: Radcliffe 2
Today we’re happy to introduce Radcliffe 2, a refreshed version of a tried-and-true WordPress theme. We’ve optimized it for speed, and added new features specifically with small-business websites in mind.
Laurel shared this new WordPress theme on the wordpress blog earlier this week. This theme looks pretty sweet and would certainly suit small businesses in the beauty or fitness niches. Check it out and let me know what you think.4
